Treasure Chest

I chose to model a treasure chest prop that I found on eBay. This is the reference picture.

I couldn't find a more detailed picture of the top of the chest. I decided to make it following the general design of the treasure chest.
Here is a side-by-side comparison of the wireframes and smooth shaded pictures of the completed model.
I created the teddy-bear shaped lock and added handles on the sides of the treasure chest to match the reference photo. It was difficult to get the texture of wooden boards to work correctly on the inside of the treasure chest, so I stuck with a metal texture. I used a skull model as the surprise inside the treasure chest. The skull rotates 360 degrees, gets bigger, and laughs while rising out of the treasure chest. For the environment, I used the basic objects (column, plane, textures) from model of some ruins. Both these models can be found online for free, and I have included the links. I also tried animating the camera this time.
The video of the wireframe, smooth shaded model, and completed, textured model can be found below!
